Albert Einstein and the International year of physics 2005

“Science is a powerful instrument. How it is used, whether it is a blessing or a cure to mankind, depends on mankind and not on the instrument. A knife is useful but it can also kill”. –Albert Einstein.
2005 is the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein-“Miraculous year.” In 1905 he published two seminar papers describing ideas that have since influenced all of modern physics: “the Photo electric effect,” and the paper on “Brownian motion.” In Germany several major scientific out reach events are planned for the “Einstein Year” and the United Nations declared 2005 the year of physics.
Albert Einstein was one of the greatest minds in the world history. Einstein is known as brilliant physicist who contributed more to the scientific world than any other person. His theories on relativity paved the way for how science currently views time, space, energy and gravity. Einstein was so advanced in his thinking that his studies and work set the standard for the control of scientific energy and space exploration currently being studied in the field of astrophysics.
Albert Einstein ranks as one of the greatest people for his contributions towards physics and his part as a philosopher of science and as a humanitarian. And like so many other great people in history, he was criticized and even threatened with death for his belief and convictions. Even up to his final days, the genius continued his search for laws that would explain more of the universe.
In 29,November 1999 a survey was conducted among 100 of today’s leading physicists. Albert Einstein has been voted as The Greatest Physicist of all time. Sir Isaac Newton was elected as second.
Albert Einstein allowed his brain to be studied after his death. Einstein’s brain must be smarter than the rest of all. Now, scientists have found that one part of his brain was physically extraordinary. In the study conducted by the overall anatomy of Einstein’s brain, scientist Mc. Master University in Ontario, Canada discovered that the part of the brain thought to be related to Mathematical reasoning- the inferior parietal region was 15 percent wider on both sides than normal.
Thus Albert Einstein says that “There are two ways to live your life
One is as though nothing is miracle
The other is as if everything is”.
